HOW TO SIMPLIFY YOUR JOBSITE LAYOUT

Technology designed for everyone in construction

Hilti layout tools and total stations for construction sites

Laying out a jobsite, whether it's for formwork, pipe sleeve, J Bolt and lines, is one of the most critical tasks on a construction site.

Layout also needs to be done quickly and accurately to avoid any delays onsite.

Professional surveyors use total station systems, but this technology can often feel too complex if you’re a contractor working on a construction site.

So at Hilti we’ve developed a range of tools, software and services to help layout a jobsite whatever your level of measuring skill.

PLT 300 – A ONE-PERSON LAYOUT TOOL

PLT 300 and PLC 400 BIM-ready construction and interior layout tools

We’ve designed the Hilti PLT 300 for everyday layouts and measuring tasks on the construction site.

It’s still designed for high performance, accuracy and productivity but it’s also designed to be easy to use.

You need just one person to operate the PLT 300, helping to save time and manpower on the jobsite.

It’s also partly automated with a clear interface, to help to reduce your learning curve.

  • No levelling is required – reducing what you need to know in order to operate the tool
  • An automatic station set-up – due to our Hilti Auto Stationing technology
  • An interface created specifically for the construction industry
  • BIM ready
